The published maximum riding speed is up to 18.6 mph / 30 km/h after unlock. Available speed depends on battery level, rider weight, conditions and configured settings.
The published maximum is up to 25 miles / 40 km under ideal conditions. Actual range varies with rider weight, speed, temperature, terrain, tire pressure and riding style, so the 14D Pro is best suited to short city trips rather than long-distance touring.
A full recharge takes approximately 3.5 hours with the standard charging setup. Charging time can vary with battery condition, temperature and operating conditions.
The 14D Pro is rated IPX5 for water resistance and is designed for everyday splashes and light rain exposure. It is not waterproof: avoid submersion, deep standing water, high-pressure washing and charging while wet.
The wheel can provide audible warnings, reduce available output and use stronger pedal feedback as battery level drops. Treat low-battery alerts seriously and avoid hard acceleration or steep climbs until the wheel is recharged.
