Is the Kingsong S18 Pro+ good for beginners?
The S18 Pro+ is better suited for riders who already have basic EUC confidence or serious beginners who are willing to practice carefully. Its full suspension, 18-inch tire, and lighter 55 lb build make it more approachable than many heavy suspension wheels, but it is still a powerful electric unicycle that requires learning, protective gear, and responsible riding.
What real-world range should I expect?
For most riders, we recommend setting expectations around 35–50 km of real-world riding range. An 80 kg rider test reference is around 47 km, but range changes with rider weight, speed, terrain, temperature, tire pressure, suspension setup, hills, stops, and riding style. Theoretical range under ideal test conditions can be higher, but should not be used as a daily riding promise.
Is the S18 Pro+ waterproof?
The S18 Pro+ is designed for everyday damp roads and light splashes, but it should not be treated as waterproof. Avoid deep water, flooded roads, pressure washing, submersion, or riding through standing water. Water damage may affect warranty coverage.
How fast can the S18 Pro+ go?
The S18 Pro+ can reach up to 50 km/h after unlock, but this should not be understood as a recommended daily cruising speed for every rider. Speed should always depend on rider skill, safety gear, road conditions, battery level, local laws, and available braking distance. Speed unlock is available through the App after total mileage exceeds 10 km.
How hard is the air suspension to maintain?
The S18 Pro+ uses an air suspension system, so riders should be willing to check and adjust suspension pressure when needed. The recommended suspension pressure is around 250 psi / 17 bar, and the original pump should be used. Riders who want a completely maintenance-free experience may prefer a rigid wheel, but for rough pavement and light trails the suspension setup is one of the main reasons to choose the S18 Pro+.
Can I use a fast charger?
The S18 Pro+ comes with a standard 2.5A charger, and charging time is about 5.5–6 hours. We recommend using the original charger for battery care and long-term reliability. Dual charging is not supported.
What is different from older S18 versions?
The current S18 Pro+ uses Samsung 50S cells to support more confident power delivery for everyday riding demands, addressing concerns some riders had about earlier battery versions under heavier load.
Who should not buy the S18 Pro+?
The S18 Pro+ is not the best choice for riders who want extreme high speed, heavy off-road jumping, long-distance touring, deep-water riding, or the longest possible battery range. It is best for riders who want a lighter full-suspension EUC for city streets, rough pavement, greenways, and light trails.
